The Terracotta Ecomuseum

The "Bielline" handicrafts

A remarkable collection of "bielline" and  the revival of the former Cantono kiln form the nucleus of the Earthenware Ecomuseum in Ronco Biellese which was set up in 1995. The typical handicraft products of this village made it one of the most important centres in Piedmont for the production of popular crockery. The exhibits represent the manual and creative art of the old craftsmen and they act as a reference mark of the thematic itinerary which illustrates the places where the terracotta was made.
