Route

This itinerary develops in the Elvo valley. Starting from Mongrando, along secondary roads and farmsteads, it takes us on a ring-route where we immediately tackle a large part of the positive height difference and then enjoy a relaxing ride surrounded by nature. Starting from the multipurpose hall of Mongrando (convenient parking), we ride along via dei Giovani until the crossroads where we turn left onto via XXIV Maggio and then take via Graglia at its end. We follow it until reaching the hamlet of "Aral Grande" from where, continuing and bending to the right, it becomes a gravel road.  Almost at its end, the road is paved again and leads to a crossroads. We first turn left downhill and then pedal on the flat in a short time, without ever leaving the main road. After the hamlet of Casavecchia, we descend to our left along a wide dirt road, which after a very short descent becomes pleasant to ride until we reach the hamlet of "Colla di Netro". From here, we turn right and reach a church. Passing in front of the church and leaving it on our right, after a short while the road turns into a gravel road, which we follow to the end, ignoring the only road that we find on our left going downhill. We reach the car park of the cemetery of Netro, turn right and continue until reaching the provincial road (SP500) that we follow turning left, until the castle in the hamlet of Croceserra.

From here, we continue straight, leaving the castle on our right, and after its walls we turn first right and then immediately left; after 600 meters, we turn left to return to the tarmac road. After 600 meters, we turn left to return to the tarmac road. Descending for 1.4 km, we continue straight along the farm road where, keeping to the right at the next two crossroads, we find the firebreak. We follow it to its end and continue straight ahead, becoming an easy path that takes us to a crossroads: we turn first left and then right until we find the provincial road (SP338). After the square of Zubiena, we leave the provincial road for 5.5 km and turn right at the first downhill road. After a short segment, becoming first a gravel road and then paved again, we get straight to the provincial road (SP338). After 2 km on our left, the road takes us back to Via dei Giovani: our starting point.
