Route

The route winds its way from Bessa park up to the Serra Morenica ridge, passing through small villages, farm roads, firebreaks and fun trails. From the centre of Mongrando ride along via Repubblica and at a roundabout the route starts. Go straight on along via Cerrione and once you enter the Bessa Park, the road becomes a dirt road. At km 3.2 turn right and after 1 km turn right on an uphill road. Paying attention, after 400-mt turn left on a path that, after a short descent, will lead you to the village of Vermogno. Coming out on via Verdoja turn right and then take the first road on your left. Keeping on the dirt road uphill turn right at the crossroads (km 7) until you reach the hamlet "Belvedere", where turn first left and after 200 meters right (S27). Continue to the next intersection where, turning right, you pass the hamlet of "Parogno". From here, continue straight ahead until you reach the provincial road (SP338) where you will first turn left and then right onto the farm road (S21) which will take you to Torrazzo. Leaving the church on your right, go straight on and then turn right into via Mombarone (13.7 km).  At the next crossroads, turn left and ride along the firebreak (S1) as far as the junction where, turning right, you will find via Andrate. Go uphill for 1 km and on your left you will find a farm road (S9a) that (keeping on your right) will lead you to a crossroads of forest roads. After a few meters on your right, you will find a clear path that you will follow following the green and blue marks until it becomes a wide farm road again. After 400 meters on our left, paying attention, we will find a path that after a short climb will take us back on the diagonal of the Serra. When you arrive at a crossroads, continue straight on the path that enters the woods and then turn first left and then right at the next crossroads. From here, continuing straight, find the provincial road (SP338) where you turn left and pass the junction for Magnano; turn on your right onto a dirt road to follow and then turn left for the next three branches. Then turn right and then left for the next two crossroads. Past "Cascina Gianetto" return to Parogno where, turning right, you go back a short stretch uphill and paying attention after a curve to the right, you find a path on your left that after the first few bumpy meters (small ford attached) improves until it enters a dirt road. Turn right and then after 1.1 km turn left and continuing straight you find the paved road. Then at the following crossroads, you will find the provincial road (SP338) that will take you back to the starting point.
