Science, nature and culture

Run by WWF and entrusted by Biella's town council it's inside the reserve of Oropa's "Sacro Monte", a UNESCO heritage site included among the areas of great botanical interest in Piedmont. There are about 500 species and varieties of spontaneous and ornamental alpine plants subdivided into different environments. They enrich the structure with self-guided trails and interactive exhibitions on various themes.The garden is upstream from the Sanctuary, in the vicinity of the cableway departures for Oropa-Mucrone lake.
