BIELLA GOLF CLUB LE BETULLE
The Biella Golf Club "Le Betulle", located in Magnano, is surrounded by the stunning ‘Serra' moraine hill with its dense woods of old birch trees, from which it takes its name.
The course was designed by the famous English architect John Morrison, and the 6,497 metre course, with its 18 holes, winds across woodlands of ancient birches and beeches, a superb area of natural beauty.
The remarkable 3rd. hole is considered the most difficult on the course (HCP1) while the 16th. hole, located on the upper part of the course, offers superb views of the Biella Alpine chain.
One of the most reputable Italian Golfing magazines, ‘Il mondo del Golf', has again named the Biella Golf Course ‘Le Betulle' as the best 18 hole golf course in Italy for 2008. This is also confirmed by the world class golfers who come here for international tournaments which are held at this stunning course.
Of course, beginners and amateurs are also welcome and the Golf Club has two PGA instructors, a driving range and two putting greens where you can work on improving your game.
