9 holes extending over an area of 30 hectares between the Bessa Nature Reserve and the Olobbia stream, the Club takes its name from an old mill, still present on the fairway of hole 1.
Made with a grassy top, the field measures 2,610 meters par 36 and is characterized by double starts and a limited number of bunkers thanks to numerous natural obstacles present along the way, such as trees (ash and hornbeam). But also natural water obstacles such as the Olobbia torrent, which flanks all hole 3, par 5 of 470 meters, and the Bessa Rio, which used to feed the wheel of the old mill, on the left of hole 2 and which is dry in the driest seasons. The obstacle of the ruin of the mill on hole 1, which characterizes the valley where this field was born, was already present on the maps of 1600. It was deliberately left as this mill was one of the 7 present in the area that formed the "industrial area of the time", precisely on the road from Cerrione to the municipalities of Magnano and Zubiena.
The greens are very large with an average surface of 600 sqm built with different degrees of slope and with the USGA Texas method. It is based on a different stratification of the soil, from a coarser sand down to the finer one on the surface and a net of drainage pipes at the base to facilitate the removal of rainwater in case of exceptional events.
