From Coda Refuge follow (trail marker C12) the grassy watershed that leads to Colle Carisey near which you leave this path (from here a long and difficult ridge trail) choosing the variant C12a that cuts high up the flanks of Roux and Bechit.
Continuing along this path reach Alpe Lace del Vittone and Colle della Lace, where you will leave the steep pastures of Valle Elvo and continue following the Aosta Valley signpost 25 (which is part of the Alta Via Valdostana, n.1) to reach Alpe Bechera in the Aosta Valley. The long descent of the Chiussuma valley allows you to touch numerous mountain pastures until you reach Alpe Maletto.
