Excursion
Request information

From the Bocchetta di Noveis pass, take the section of the GTB (stage 44) that leads to the Cappelletta degli Alpini, a memorial to the fallen of the First World War. Along the route, you will notice the remains of the ski facilities of Noveis, a renowned tourist resort of the early 1900s that is now part of the Mountain and Culture itineraries.

Leaving the little church and the splendid panorama that embraces it, proceed to Alpe Sparavera and, continuing along the GTB (stage 43), and follow the path gradually losing altitude until you reach the hamlet of Piasca di Ailoche.

From here, a stretch of tarmac road leads to the cemetery of Ailoche, from where stage 42 of the GTB starts, leading to the centre of Crevacuore.
