FROM ROSAZZA TO THE GRAGLIASCA PASS
Excursion
The route starts from Provincial Road 100, but it is possible to take the path from the car park at the end of Via Federico Rosazza.
From here the first part of the path, as far as the houses of Desate, is accessible to all.
The route then becomes a hiking trail, winding its way through the suggestive and wild Pragnetta valley, a tributary of the orographic right of the Cervo torrent; the itinerary is also very interesting from a faunistic-vegetational and geological point of view.
Shortly beyond the Desate village (1,100 m), you reach Fianbello, where you ignore the fork in the road that leads to S. Giovannino and instead continue to the right, following the mule track along which there is a succession of different environments: imposing scree, meadows, rocky walls and alpine pastures.
Passing the constructions of the lower and upper Gragliasca alp, you reach Colle della Gragliasca, from where you can enjoy an excellent view of the Gressoney valley, the Pragnetta valley and the peaks of Mount Mars, Gran Gabe and Mount Pietra Bianca.
