Itinerary between the Province of Biella and the Aosta Valley. From Piedicavallo follow the ancient road linking Colle della Vecchia, which since ancient times fed the trade between Piedmont and the Aosta Valley. The downhill route is a mule track with about 400 hairpin bends. The landscape is thick in forests and patches of rhododendrons. There is a remarkable presence of Walser village’s architecture.
