SOPRANA MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK
Soprana is one of the five municipalities in the Mortigliengo area. Located between Trivero, Cossato, Masserano and Curino. Its name derives from its particular position, which was once the highest in the area. The position is still one of the strengths of Soprana, which offers a splendid panorama over the eastern Biella area. Over time, Volunteer Associations and the Municipal Administration have successfully combined these natural beauties with points of artistic, historical and gastronomic interest.
The Municipality of Soprana, which constitutes the eastern margin, is accessed from the Provincial in Ponzone, then going up to the S15 meters of Cerruti, then descending to Vioglio, the administrative center of Lanvario and from there up to 430 meters of Molinengo. along the road that crosses the village entirely from north to south. The municipal territory has an extension of 519.5 hectares.
Walking from village to village is one of the main attractions of this delightful village. The Municipality is divided into 7 permanently inhabited small villages: Baltigati, Cerreia, Rigozzo, Cerruti, Vioglio, Lanvario, Molinengo, while Bozzola and Cimamonti, surrounded by thick spontaneous vegetation, come alive on weekends and during the summer.
