The identity of Bürsch

Founded in 1987, the house museum is located in a traditional home in Rosazza where more than 15 rooms narrate the curious history of the Upper Cervo Valley (in dialect Bürsch means den or house). The rooms are arranged according to different life themes: the kitchen, the stable, the secular emigration of the local men(skilled masons and bricklayers who specialized in the processing of syenite), the vocational schools  with specific courses of studies in building, mutual aid workers societies, the strong role of women who had to take care of both the domestic and rural economy.

Location: Rosazza (Cervo Valley)
