A special wine

The museum keeps a rich and historical documentation on local grape growing which is also of didactic interest. The old tools  they used are on exhibition: the winepress, the hand operated sheller, wine vats, baskets for the grape picking and other curious implements of the time. From the Nebbiolo, Croatina, Bonarda and Vespotina grapes, in well- defined percentages a rare wine is produced:  Bramaterra. The grapes come from the confined vineyards of 7 villages: Roasio, Lazzolo, Sostegno, Villa del Bosco, Masserano, Curino and Brusnengo. The museum is in the hamlet Casa del Bosco.

Location: Sostegno (Eastern Biellese and Rive Rosse)
