The man who had the San Sebastiano complex, built in Bramante Lombardy style, was Sebastiano Ferrero. His key role in Biella’s renaissance can be seen not only here, but also in Palazzo La Marmora, Ricetto in Candelo and the Prince’s Palace in Masserano. As well as visiting the cloisters and basilica which are richly frescoed and have many works of art, visitors can also deepen their knowledge of the Biella area by travelling through time in both the archaeological section (up to the Middle Ages) and historical-art section (from the Renaissance to the twentieth Century).

Location: Biella (Biella and Oropa Valley)
