Peoples’ Paths and Stories

Casa Mazzia Piciot in Pettinengo, a gift to Su Nuraghe of Biella and property of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, intends to be a place of awareness of the present’s common roots. Local migrants - Piedmontese, Sardinians and Venetians - have experienced the same hopes, hardships and adventures, contributing to the development of the communities in which they have overcome prejudice and diversity. A multidisciplinary journey - historical, socio-anthropological, artistic and scientific - suggests that "identity" is "always and only the result of a choice".
