The Madonnina of Sala B.se Sanctuary

Request information

Built in the XVIII century on the place where, in the 15th C., a frescoed tower by Gaspare da Ponderano stood, it can be reached by taking the Sala-Zubiena road, which winds up the charming morenic hill of the Serra, in a emotion-filled landscape. Just a few kilometers away stood the Roman Benedectine Abbey of Saints Salvatore and Giacomo della Bessa, which was abandoned by the monks in the XIV century. The place is particularly interesting for the nature surrounding it, and there are many picnic areas and trails.

Location: Sala Biellese (Viverone, Serra and Bessa)
